If you are currently living in Illinois, then your immigration case will likely be processed by the USCIS Field Office located in Chicago. You can visit this office at:

You may not be required to visit both of these offices to process your immigration case in the state of Illinois. You are required to have an appointment before entering any USCIS office. You cannot enter a USCIS office more than 15 minutes before your reserved time. If you have an appointment for a naturalization ceremony, then you will be allowed to enter the USCIS office when there is 30 minutes or less until your scheduled ceremony.
